About Sudoku 4x4
Sudoku 4x4 is a simplified version of the classic Sudoku, tailored especially for beginners and children due to its straightforwardness. The puzzle consists of a 4x4 grid, which is further divided into four 2x2 subgrids, referred to as "regions". Some cells are pre-filled with numbers, serving as clues to assist in solving.
Basic Rules
- Grid Structure: The puzzle features a 4x4 grid, divided into 2x2 regions.
- Pre-filled Numbers: Some cells contain numbers to guide the solver.
- Objective: Fill every row, column, and region with numbers 1 through 4.
Additional Rules
- No Repetition: A number cannot appear more than once in a single row, column, or region.
- Use of Numbers: Only numbers 1 through 4 are to be used to fill the grid.
Basic Solving Tips
- Single Possibility: If a cell is the only one in its row, column, or region that can contain a particular number, place that number there.
- Exclusion: If a number is already present in a row or column, look for other places in the respective region to place the remaining numbers.
- Double Pairs: If two cells in a row, column, or region can only be two numbers (like 3 and 4), exclude these numbers from other cells in that area.
- Scan: Continuously scan rows, columns, and regions to make sure that the basic and additional rules are being adhered to.
